Dear Friends,

In this time of reduced funding for public radio we are struggling to keep Hidden Kitchens on the air. The series has chronicled some of the most vital issues of food and community in America—homeless kitchens, school kitchens, secret civil rights kitchens, internment camp kitchens, Native American kitchens, New Orleans kitchens and a vast array of immigrant kitchen traditions—stories of people who tend and feed our nation.

Funding for Hidden Kitchens comes from the community of listeners and organizations that care about these issues. At this critical moment in the burgeoning food movement—an organic garden on the White House Lawn, the battle over the health of the nation, the struggles of families to keep food on the table and the state of our land and water—the Hidden Kitchens series, which covers these issues in a lively and human way, is needed now more than ever.

Please help keep Hidden Kitchens on Morning Edition with a tax-deductible contribution to The Kitchen Sisters Productions.

Thank you for your stories and your support.
